Terms of Service
General service terms covering the service purpose, user responsibilities, human review, and electronic evidence. Version 2026-07-20.global5.3 · 2026-07-20
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of the WorkMatchApp service in Finland and other market profiles except where role-specific addenda provide otherwise.
An agreement is formed between the user and the service provider Lempelä Oy, business ID 2174515-9, Ulappakatu 1 A 1, 02320 Espoo, Finland when the user accepts the terms or uses the service.
2. Service purpose
WorkMatchApp helps workers and employers find stronger matches using profile, role, and usage signals.
The service supports recruitment, but it does not make final hiring or rejection decisions automatically.
3. User responsibilities
Keep materially relevant information accurate and up to date, protect your credentials, and use the service only for lawful purposes consistent with the service purpose.
You may not use the service in a fraudulent, abusive, discriminatory, security-threatening, or rights-infringing manner.
4. User content and moderation
Users may contribute profile, job-search, role, message, attachment, feedback, and other recruitment-related content to the service. The user is responsible for keeping that content materially truthful, lawful, and non-infringing.
Prohibited content and conduct include harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, sexual or exploitative content, illegal content, spam, fraudulent or misleading information, malicious code, and content that violates another person's privacy, trade secrets, copyrights, or other rights.
WorkMatchApp may process user reports, block communication between users, remove or restrict content, hide matches, suspend account use, or terminate access where necessary to protect users, the service, legal compliance, or third-party rights.
5. Human review
Matching, scores, recommendations, and profiling are decision-support signals. Final recruitment decisions must always be made by a human.
6. Electronic acceptance and evidence
Electronic acceptances, event logs, timestamps, contact-reveal logs, and other ordinary electronic records may serve as evidence of contract formation and actions taken in the service.
7. Changes and termination
WorkMatchApp may update the terms due to law, regulatory requirements, security needs, or functional service development. Material changes are communicated reasonably in advance.
Users may stop using the service and close their account at any time. WorkMatchApp may terminate the agreement if the user materially breaches the terms or endangers the service or the rights of others.
8. Age, legal capacity, and safe work for young people
WorkMatchApp's job-search and matching service is intended for people aged 16 or over and is not restricted to adults. A 16–17-year-old may use the job-search, profile, matching, and match-chat features to the extent permitted by the laws of their country of residence and work. WorkMatchApp does not ask for or store a date of birth during ordinary account creation.
Match chat is not anonymous or random: it opens between authenticated users based on a specific worker, employer, and employment match. Opening the conversation does not require a separate employer acknowledgement concerning a minor. All users must keep communication professional and limited to recruitment and use the block and report tools when needed.
Users must not send national identity numbers, online-banking credentials, payment-card details, an unnecessary home address, private images, or other sensitive information not needed for recruitment in chat. WorkMatchApp maintains reporting, blocking, and moderation tools for all users on the same basis.
The employer is responsible for local-law minimum-age, working-time, task, induction, safety, permit, representation, and other employer obligations relating to a minor. Age must not be used discriminatorily, although an employer may apply a lawful age requirement based on legislation or genuine requirements of the role.
Employer, administrator, seller, and affiliate roles may be used only by an adult natural person who is entitled to act in their own name or as a legally authorised representative of an organisation. This limitation does not prevent a 16–17-year-old from using the job-search and matching service.
